How to update to new versions of presets

WARNING: Before importing new presets or updating existing ones, it is strongly recommended to backup your presets. Go to the Presets Manager panel and click on the “Export all…” button.

To update your presets, choose one of the options below.

By Videomass Application (Option 1)

  1. Launch the Videomass application.
  2. Check for new versions on the menu bar -> tools -> Check preset updates .
  3. If a new versions is available, go to the menu bar -> tools -> Get latest presets .
  4. Open the folder where you chose to download the presets, then extract the tarball.
  5. From the Videomass Home panel click on the big Presets Manager button.
  6. Click the Next button on the toolbar to switch on Presets Manager panel.
  7. On the left side of the Presets box, click on the “Import preset” button or the “Import folder” button and follow the instructions that appear.
  8. The new presets should appear in the drop-down menu.

Downloading from the development page (Option 2)

  1. Go to Videomass-presets page
  2. Download the latest release available
  3. Extract tarball or zipball archive.
  4. Launch the Videomass application and follow steps 5 through 8 of option 1 above.
